I'm Victor — a Canadian living in San Francisco, California. I'm a PADI Advanced Open Water diver, I've been to 30+ countries, and these days I've felt a strong urge to keep diving! I know what it's like to spend two hours cross-referencing accommodation reviews trying to figure out if a place actually has the vibe you're after, or cross-referencing Reddit threads and reviews of Dive shops on Google Maps to figure out when to go where, and the likelihood of seeing what you're chasing.

This started as a personal experiment. I had a domain, some time before my honeymoon in Indonesia, and a suspicion that AI could do something genuinely useful here — not just summarize reviews, but actually reason about taste.

I bought this domain, thinking this would be an "AI Agent"/LLM type project. But what I'm interested in way more than just "AI", is travel. Seeing new things, being in new places, meeting new people, and experiencing another type of life entirely. So what does "Agent" mean here? Travel Agent? AI Agent? Why not both?

Over the next few months, I'll be in Southeast Asia, developing www.hellomydiver.com while identifying and serving the dual-side market here - not just divers, but dive shops.
